Hipsamatic – digital photography never looked so analog.

…that’s at least what Hipstamatic claims about themselves. The app is available from the iTunes App Store at a price of $1.99 which is pretty high for an iPhone photography app.

Hipstamatic is not a editing app. It provides 4 default lenses , 3 default films and 2 default camera cases and many in-app purchase options. There is a possibility to combine each lens with each film and each case. Therefore, Hipstamatic turns the iPhone camera in a analog camera, with pre-installed lenses and films which are not influenceable by manual editing afterwards (at least not within the app).

Wow! I just discovered this awesome new iPhone lens on the Macword / iWorld 2012 convention in San Francisco! iPhoneograhy accessories become more and more famous, good for us iPhoneography fanatics! You may know about the Olloclip, and that already is a nice accessory for the iPhone. But now the world famous lens maker Schneider Optics joined the world of iPhone Photography.

What’s so great about that? The quality of the lenses is going to increase A LOT! Schneider Optics is the main lens maker for companies such as Kodak and Samsung, meaning these lenses are going to be awesome!!!
